Today was the fist day of my journey to better fitness. I am an active participant in the Body by Vi 90 Day Challenge.
Basically, I started the day with a yummy shake and sat down to go online and officially register for the Challenge. Tam took a few “before” photos. A humbling experience for most, me included. Another function of registering is a statement of my personal goal. My BMI (body mass index) is classified as “overweight” for my height and weight. I will get this into portion while taking the challenge. When I hit the scale after these 90 days, I will be at least 20 pounds lighter! I’m going to need new pants! What a great problem to have – smaller clothes in the closet is a good thing.
Next is the exercise. I’m going to be honest here and tell you that I did not complete the simple easy 15 walk. Other issues of life happened and this is not an excuse. Tomorrow, I will be on track.

Then I had a sensible dinner of a salad, lean turkey and a baked potato. The only other ingredient is a vitamin regiment. One pack in the AM and one in the PM hours for maximum health. This is an easy one for me because I’ve learned that vitamins make me feel better! So I am thrilled to take the recommended supplements. I’m excited about the whole process!
